Rick has a background in Financial Services, as a financial planner for almost 20 years and real estate, as a real estate broker and agent since the early 1980’s. He has a degree in Business Management/ Finance and has lived in Burleson for over 28 years.

Rick has been involved in the Burleson community as a current sitting city councilman serving his 1^st term from 2000-2004 and most recently 2010 and present. He also serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission from 1999-2000.

Rick has been a member of the Burleson Rotary Club, Burleson Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church of Burleson. He also served on the Community Services Committees, Finance and Internal Service Committee, Infrastructure and Development Committee, Public Safety and Court Committee, Governance and Stewardship Committee, Appointments and Loaner Policies Committee and both The TYPE A and TYPE B boards.
